DIGICEL LAUNCHES BIGGER BETTER INTERNATIONAL PLAN

Come May 1, customers of Jamaica’s bigger, better network’ will get more minutes to call friends and family overseas with Digicel’s International Calling Plan. The new plan allows Digicel customers 1250 international minutes for only J$1250 per month; effectively a rate of only $1 per minute.

The international plan includes calls to the USA, Canada, China and landlines in Spain and the UK, and is available to all Digicel customers. “Digicel knows the importance of keeping in touch with friends and family” says Wayne Miller, Head of Marketing. “Our international calling plan now gives our customers more minutes to make their international calls.”

The plan is valid for 30 days and can be activated or renewed by dialing “*134# SEND” once sufficient call credit has been added to the phone. Unused minutes will expire after the 30-day period and will not be available in the following month. If a customer exhausts the 1250 minutes allotted for the period, he or she will then be charged a rate of J$8 per minute for the additional minutes.
